This is a place for all my prose and poetry, although it may just become an index page with links to all my poems, as I don't think people will want to scroll through mass quantities of literature before they get to the particular peice they want to veiw. (Wow, a run-on sentence, Bad Joe!!!) I will put one poem here though, beforewarned people I deal with many sensitive subjects in my writing. I DO NOT NOR WILL NOT EVER CENSOR THE MUSE WITHIN!! Emotion is a powerful language. Enough has to be siphoned off of an inspirational "spark" before it is able to exist in the form of spoken word. I may also add links to various poetry/prose/short story/essay sites as well. Mii Gwech!! And happy reading!
What to do when the window's shut?
Nothing to do but become a slut.
Nothing to say because you don't care,
You treat me like shit, as if I'm not there;
If I was gone it would matter not,
So I'll give it a try, it's worth a shot,
(Remember: Invisibility's a blessing too!)
When I can slip by unnoticed by you,
When I can die inside, unnoticed by you...
Now you dash your foot to stone,
Your heart open like pearls before swine.
Your heart bleeds for love,
And your tears flow like wine.
Ah, sweet mermaid girl,
Does a prince still search for you?
Or is he lost within his soul
Having given up on love like you...
Little girl mermaid shell,
Don't let yourself fall to hell,
Be always wary to whom you speak,
So you always stay kind,
So you always stay sweet...
